The material is divided into three steps.

1. Personal Deep Structure:

Experience as a consultant with Touche, then as a con-sultant to consultants – Deloitte, Watson Wyatt, Korn/Ferry etc.

Ph.D. in Group Decision Dynamics based on very large video data bases of real group interactions and subsequent video-based coaching. In-depth statistical techniques proved effectiveness of key methods.

Experience as a manager with De Beers and Anglo American, then with Deloitte and Touche in Canada, Alaska, Ireland.

MBA cum laude. Business School Executive Program developer.

Lifelong interest in Jungian psychology and design of tailored CEO personal leadership development featured in Jung Society and other presentations.

Experience as an educator “in the spaces” of workshop flows. This ability draws on small nuggets of appropriate theory or anecdote, as needed.

I have new work based on a synthesis of workshop time spent with Dr. Peter Senge, Dr. Warren Ziegler and others and new unpublished elements of my own.

Following on my client work with Dr. Edward de Bono. Some key concepts of his process (with adaptations) are in the tool kit.

Graphics facilitation
Based on former work with a colleague in San Francisco, David Sibbett. This is a technique based on the ability to create very fast graphic summaries of complex material, and to lead the process through the graphic medium.

Consulting Skills
Designed and ran a series of Consulting Skills workshops for major Utility, then for University programs featuring Sir John Harvey-Jones and a BBC series on consultation.

Deep theory base in organization change and leadership
Hundreds of change projects accomplished and many leadership sessions with ongoing one-on-one counseling to CEOs.

Conflict Management
The basics of the work with a client and the late Dr. Roger Fisher have been adapted to workshop formats and are altered in use depending on the situation.

Prioritizing tactics
I have access to a range of these – each one based on the needs of the group and situation.

The desire here is not just to have a good workshop, but to achieve needed consensus on actions and also any further explorations of key topics. There is also an outcome of greater optimism for the future and greater interpersonal trust, with an enhanced commitment to explore and tackle agreed issues.
